I was very excited this week to have had an "ah ha" moment surrounding the confluence of ideas that I'm studying in my database management class and the reading I've been doing for Operating Systems. First, the How a Database Works section of the book came at exactly the right time to provide another layer of insight as I learned about physical database design.
Similarly, I've been able to leverage many of the concepts we've been exploring in Marketing to refine the design and content for the new CALMAT web site which I set to go live on Friday!
It quite humbling to think about how much we do with bits of data and how much computers have reshaped our world in just this last thirty years.
